The post 2000 CL and S Class coupes are a bit too tacky for my tastes but imposing none the less. Maybe it’s just the typical owners of CL coupes though.

W140 Sonderklasse is the best kind of Sonderklasse.

The older boxy Mercs just has that domineering look the newer luxury cars somehow miss, where I somewhat see it return on the CT6.

Your loss. The C140 is my favorite generation S Class coupe/CL. It just embodies 90s excess and screams “I could make more Deutschmark with two phone calls than your month’s sallary.
